Advancing Sustainability in Africa
Every movement starts with a conversation, a moment when ideas collide, visions take shape, and a different future feels possible. For us, Adetoro Adetayo and Tomi Abe, that conversation began in 2021. Africa deserves a platform that not only reports on its challenges but also offers clarity, context, and hope.
By May 2023, what began as an idea became Susinsight, a place where sustainability journalism and intelligence meet, connecting people, practices, and policies across the continent.
We didn’t set out just to tell stories. We set out to make sense of them and to spark action.
Our Story
Sustainability has often been treated as something distant. But to us, it’s personal. It touches daily life, community life, and the collective future we are all shaping.
We saw a need: Africa was brimming with innovation and progress, yet so much of it went unseen. There was no single space that combined deep research, clear storytelling, and actionable insight. Susinsight was born to change that.
Our journey has been anything but straight. We’ve learned, adapted, and grown alongside the continent we love, never losing sight of why we started: to make sustainability accessible, relatable, and transformative for Africa’s future.

Tomi holds the big picture at Susinsight, from what we publish to how people experience it. He leads editorial direction and platform strategy, blending storytelling with structure so every insight reaches the right audience with clarity and depth. His work spans content, design, and digital operations, all in service of one goal: making complex ideas accessible, relevant, and transformative.
